Robert Bhat is pleased to announce that he is celebrating his fifth year of a successful career with Wells Fargo. Bhat has worked for various divisions of Wells Fargo, including the Capital Finance Public Company (where he currently is) and the Bank Public Company. Additionally, he has been an associate in the Wells Fargo’s highly selective Credit Management Training Program in San Francisco, a five month-long intensive program offered to high performance employees.
“I definitely feel as though I have had a rich experience with Wells Fargo,” says Robert Bhat when asked about his career. “I’ve been employed in three different positions with Wells Fargo, and I was able to spend five months getting some terrific training in San Francisco with the company.”
Robert Bhat first began working for Wells Fargo in January 2007 as a Credit Analyst. In this position, Bhat was an underwriter for commercial real estate loans. These loans could range between $4 and $30 million. Additionally, part of his role as a Credit Analyst included managing a portfolio that totaled $250 million in commitments.
After two years and ten months as a Credit Analyst, Robert Bhat began the Credit Management Training Program in San Francisco. The program requires three rounds of intensive interviews and candidates must show exceptional drive to even be considered eligible. “[The program] has definitely been a highlight of my career so far!” says Bhat. “I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything.”
After completing the program, Robert Bhat was hired as a Relationship Manager with Wells Fargo Bank Public Company in February 2010. Bhat enjoyed this role, working with private real estate developers in the Mid-Atlantic region, until he moved to Fort Lauderdale in November 2011 to become a Loan Originations Associate with Wells Fargo Capital Finance Public Company. In this position, Robert Bhat helps facilitate asset-based loans for middle-market companies.
